Trialogues/Annual Meeting Reports and Special Publications
The earliest Trialogues were informal bulletins on North American, European, and Japanese affairs. They covered the Commission’s committee and plenary meetings and featured contributions from individual authors on topics such as monetary policy, trade issues, governability, and the politics of human rights.
More recent Trialogues are reports on annual meetings, the latest of which is Seeking Opportunities in Crisis: Trilateral Cooperation in Meeting Global Challenges, a compilation of speaker presentations from the 2009 Tokyo Plenary Meeting.
Also published in the Trialogues series are special reports such as The Trilateral Commission at 25 and Commemorating 1989, the Year that Changed the Map of Europe (and Thereby the World), which was presented at the 2009 European Regional Meeting in Oslo. The most recent is A Tribute to Mario Vargas Llosa, recipient of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Literature and former member of the European Group of the Trilateral Commission.
Older Trialogues are available in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) on this website and can be downloaded. Information on downloading PDFs and is provided under Trialogues. The most recent Trialogues may be purchased from Brookings Institution Press.
