Corien Wortmann-Kool is chairman of the Board of ABP Pensionfund since January 1st 2015. Until July 1st, 2014 she was a member of the European Parliament and vice president of the EPP group on Financial, Economic and Monetary Affairs. Before 2004, Corien was director at the Ministry of Transport. Corien holds a Masters Degree in Political Science and Economics from the VU University in Amsterdam. Corien Wortmann-Kool is also member of the Supervisory Board of Aegon N.V., member of the Supervisory Board of Kadaster, member Advisory Committee of Statistics Netherlands, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Save the Children and vice president of European Peoples Party (EPP).
