Eleanor Runde co-wrote Genesis: Artificial Intelligence, Hope, and the Human Spirit alongsideHenry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt, and Craig Mundie. She recently served as an advisor on artificial intelligence to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. She holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she focused her studies on comparative technological governance. Before and during law school, Eleanor worked closely with Dr. Kissinger as a researcher and consultant. She speaks Italian and Mandarin Chinese and is a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.
