Francisco de Lacerda is Chairman of the Banco CTT, Lisbon, since its inception in August 2015 and Independent Non-Executive Director of Endesa, Madrid (the largest electric energy company in Spain) since April 2015. Chief Executive Officer of CTT – Correios de Portugal (Portugal Post), Lisbon, between 2012 and 2019, he led its full privatization in 2013 & 2014 through an IPO to be listed on Euronext Lisbon. Was also Chairman of COTEC Portugal between 2015 and 2018 and a member of the Board of Directors of International Post Corporation (IPC) between 2014 and 2017. Graduated in Business Administration and Management from Católica Lisbon Business & Economics, he held several relevant executive and non-executive functions in listed companies: from 2010 to 2012, he was CEO of Cimpor, at the time, one of the 8 largest global cement companies; from 2008 to 2012, Independent Non-executive Director of EDP Renováveis (then #3 global company of renewable energy); from 2000 to 2008, Executive Director of Millenniumbcp (where from 2001 to 2003 he was Deputy CEO of Bank Millennium in Poland (living in Warsaw), from 2003 to 2007 responsible for the bank activities in several European countries and between 2005 and 2007 responsible for the Investment Bank arm); between 1993 and 2000 he was Executive Chairman of Banco Mello.
