Franjo Bobinac is President of the Management Board of Gorenje Group in Ljubljana, Vice President for Marketing of Hisense International Co. Ltd and Honorary Consul of Monaco. Franjo Bobinac has wide international experience in various business functions. Mr. Bobinac is an accomplished manager with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge, an extensive comprehension of the consumer products industry and with excellent leadership skills. Mr. Bobinac completed his MBA studies at the Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Paris. During his career, he was Managing Director at Gorenje’s branch office in Paris from 1993 to 1998. After Gorenje’s transformation into a public limited company in 1998, he became member of the Management Board of Gorenje, d. d. in charge of sales and marketing for the following 5 years. In 2003, he was for the first time appointed President of the Management Board of Gorenje, function that he still performs today. In 2018 he was appointed also Vice President for Marketing of Hisense International Co.Ltd. and as a Honorary Consul of Monaco. Mr. Bobinac is also President of the Handball Association of Slovenia and a member of the Supervisory Board of the IEDC Bled School of Management. He is also a member of European Trilateral Commission and occasionally lectures at various institutions at home and abroad. Mr. Bobinac was awarded the decoration of knight of national order of merit of the Republic of France. He received the award of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia for exceptional economic achievements in the year 2009 and the medal of Janez Vajkard Valvasor for economists granted by the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School.
