Franjo Luković retired as CEO of Zagrebacka Banka in February 2015 after almost 24 years of service. He joined Zagrebačka banka in Zagreb first as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager in 1991 to become Chairman of the Management Board as of 1995. He graduated with a B. Sc. (Econ.) from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb where he was assistant lecturer (Monetary and Credit Policies course) in 1972-74. He was appointed in 1974-79 Head of the International Division of Jugobanka at the Vinkovci branch and became in 1979-1990 Deputy General Manage of Jugobanka in Zagreb. Mr. Luković was Advisor to the General Manager of Coning at Varazdin (consultancy) in 1990-91. He also held the positions of Member of the Supervisory Board of UniCredit Leasing Zabreb, Chair of the Supervisory Board of UniCredit Bank dd Mostar (BH) and of Nova Banjalucka Banka Banja Luka (BH), Member of the Croation Employers’ Association and Member of the Council of the Croatian Banking Association.
