Joshua Berkowitz has over 30 years of Global Macro investing experience. He is currently Founder and President of Shield Street Capital, a family office focused on Global Macro and alternative investments, and CEO of PlaySqor, a sports gaming company. Previously, Joshua founded Woodbine Capital Advisors, a Global Macro Hedge Fund that managed $3.5B, and served as the Chief Executive and Investment Officer. Joshua has held Global Macro Portfolio Manager positions at several prominent Hedge Funds and Investment Banks including Soros Fund Management, SAC Capital Advisors, Goldman Sachs and Caxton Associates. Joshua graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He also holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. Joshua is a Member of the Kennedy Center International Committee and is serving a six-year term on the Trilateral Commission. He is also a Board Member of the South African Institute for Race Relations.
