Kiyoshi Tsugawa
Kiyoshi Tsugawa graduated from the University of Tokyo with a B.A. in law and joined The Bank of Tokyo, Ltd. in 1956 where he served as Director (Board Member) in charge of international finance and capital markets from 1985 to 1987. From 1987 to 1995 he was President and Chairman of S.G. Warburg Securities (Japan) Inc. and Director of S.G. Warburg & Co, (London). He was Chairman of Lehman Brothers Japan Inc. and also Managing Director of Lehman Brothers (New York) from 1995 to 2004. Then he was an Executive Adviser and a member of Japan Advisory Board of Lehman Brothers Japan Inc. until Lehman Brothers ended its life in September 2008. He served ACCJ (The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan) as a Governor in 2002 and 2003, and as a Special Adviser from 2004 to 2005. He was a member of Waseda University Nihombashi Campus, (Graduate School-Finance) Advisory Committee from 2004 to 2010. He was Chairman of the Securities Investors Protection Fund from 1999 to 2003, a Board Member of the Tokyo Stock Exchange regular Members Association from 1998 to 2003 and a board member of Aozora Bank from 2005 to 2014. He also served as a Board member of the Osaka Securities Exchange from 2001 to 2004.
