Marc Puig
Marc Puig is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Puig. He was born in Barcelona and studied Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (1986). In 1990 he received an MBA from Harvard University on a scholarship from “La Caixa” bank. In 1991 he joined Antonio Puig S.A. in Barcelona as Director of R&D and New Product Development.In 1996 he was named President of Puig USA, and Chairman of Carolina Herrera Ltd. fashion company, based in New York.In 2001 he returned to Barcelona to take up the position of President of the Fashion Division and Senior Vice President Corporate Development. In 2004 he was appointed CEO of Puig, and in February 2007 was also named Chairman of the Puig Board of Directors. He continues to hold both positions today. He is Vice-president of the IEF (Family Business Institute), Vice-president of the Circulo de Economia, member of the Harvard Business School European Advisory Board, and member of the IESE International Advisory Board
