Oliver Bäte has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Allianz SE (CEO) in Munich since 2015. He has been Member of the Board of Management in Munich since January 2008, being Chief Operating Officer since 2009. From 1993-2007, Oliver Bäte was a staff member at McKinsey & Company. After graduating from high school in 1984, Oliver Bäte got a professional training as a banker from 1984-1988 at the Westdeutsche Landesbank in Cologne. And from 1988-1993 he studied business administration at the University of Cologne, and at the Leonard Stern School of Business at the New York University where he received a degree as “Master of Business Administration”.
