Satoru Murase
Satoru Murase is a partner with the global law firm of Mayer Brown LLP. He advises corporations, financial institutions and government entities regarding cross-border investments, technology, disputes and policy issues in Asia, the United States, Europe and the Middle East. He has represented clients in international trade disputes before the US Trade Representative, Department of Treasury, ITC and Department of Commerce. He is a Director of the Japan Center for International Exchange USA; the US Japan Foundation; the Japan Society; and the Program on International Financial Systems and is a member of the Trilateral Commission, the National Committee on US-China Relations, and Asia Society. Satoru is identified in The Best Lawyers in America (2012–2019) and, The Best Lawyers in Japan (2012–2019) and as one of the BTI Client Service All-Stars 2012. Satoru is fluent in both English and Japanese and studied Mandarin in college.
