Shigesuke Kashiwagi is Senior Advisor for EQT since April 2021, assisting the company to make an entry into Japanese market. He is also a founder and Managing Partner of Bwac JAPAN LLC which provides consultancy service in Arts and Finance. He served as President and Representative Director of Schroder Investment Management (Japan) from July 2016 to March 2020. Prior to this, he worked for Nomura for 34 years, and played various roles including Chief Financial Officer, Head of Regulatory Affairs, Head of the Americas, and Global Head of Fixed Income. He has a BA in Economics from Keio University in Japan and a MBA from New York University.
