Jie-Ae Sohn
Ms. Sohn is currently a professor at Ewha Womans University and a senior communications consultant for the Korean Green Growth Trust Fund of the World Bank. She was the CEO of the Korea International Broadcasting Foundation (Arirang TV & Radio) from 2011 to 2014, the first and still the only woman to be a CEO of a major broadcasting station in South Korea. Previously, she was the secretary of the office of overseas public relations for the South Korean President Lee Myung Bak from 2010 to 2011. During her career as a journalist, she was the Seoul correspondent and bureau chief for CNN from 1995 to 2010. Ms. Sohn received her B.A. in political science and international relations from Ewha Womans University in 1985. She graduated from Yonsei University in 2011 with an M.A. in journalism and mass communication. She is married with three daughters.
