Uwe Fröhlich serves as co-Chief Executive Officer of DZ BANK AG in Frankfurt as of January 1st, 2019. After completing a bank apprenticeship and studying business administration Uwe Fröhlich started his professional career in 1985 as a consultant at Arthur Anderson. He joined IBM in 1989 where he held various specialist and managerial positions. In 2001 he was appointed to the Board of the Berliner Volksbank. Between 2008 and 2017 Uwe Fröhlich served as president of the National Association of German Cooperative Banks. At the end of 2017 he joined DZ BANK as a chief representative in preparation for his task as co-chief executive officer.
