Yasmine Kherbache serves as judge in the Belgian Constitutional Court. She is the youngest judge in the history of the Constitutional Court and the first judge with a migration background. Previously she was Member of Parliament for the social-democrats and Chief of Staff of Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo. She started her professional career as a lawyer at De Bandt, Van Hecke, Lagae (now Linklaters) and founded her own boutique law firm specialized in intellectual property and labour law. Yasmine Kherbache has a Master of Law degree from the University of Leuven and from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She is member of the board of Directors of the Fondation Roi Baudouin.
