Yasuhisa Shiozaki

Former Member of the House of Representatives

Yasuhisa Shiozaki served as a member of the National Diet of Japan for 28 years, and also served as Chief Cabinet Secretary (2006-2007) and Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare (2014-2017). He has been a member of Global Leaders Group on Antimicrobial Resistance since 2020. He has also been serving as Global Goodwill Ambassador of CEPI since 2022. Prior to entering politics, he had worked at the Bank of Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo and received his master’s degree in public administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
