Yasuteru Hirai is a Member of the Board and Executive Vice President of Mitsubishi Corporation. He is also concurrently Corporate Functional Officer, Global Strategy, Chief Compliance Officer, and Officer for Emergency Crisis Management Headquarters. Since entering Mitsubishi in 1984, Mr. Hirai has served as President of Mitsubishi Corporation (Shanghai) Ltd.; Regional Chief Executive Officer, East Asia, in Shanghai; and President of Mitsubishi Corporation China Co., Ltd. Mr. Hirai graduated from Faculty of Economics of Keio University, and attended the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program in 2015.
